SUMMERVILLE, S.C. - Pamela Ann Barton, 51, of Summerville, passed away November 9, 2012.

Born in Rochester, N.H., she was the daughter of William Mascis and the late Rachel Vezeau. She moved to Charleston with her husband, David following Hurricane Hugo. Pamela loved to help others and had a giving spirit. She owned and operated Carousel Cleaning and helped David with his company, Barton Painting.

She is survived by her son, Justin Barton and wife Kellie of Summerville; partner, David Barton of Goose Creek, S.C.; grandson, Justin Barton, Jr.; father, William "Bill" Mascis of Goose Creek, S.C.; sister, Patty Mascis of Goose Creek and brother, Michael Mascis of Maine.

A celebration of Pamela's life will be held Saturday, November 17, 2012 at 1 p.m. at David Barton's home, 336 Holly Avenue, Goose Creek. In keeping with Pamela's wishes, she has asked that guest bring a yellow rose in her memory.
