Roger Lefebvre

ROCHESTER - Roger C. Lefebvre, 83, died Friday January 25, 2013, at the Riverside Rest Home in Dover, after a long period of failing health.

Roger was born in Rochester, N.H. on April 8, 1929, the son of Omer and Roseanna (Cyr) Lefebvre and lived all of his life in Rochester. Prior to his retirement he worked for the U.S. Postal Service as a mail carrier. He was at one time an usher at Holy Rosary Church in Rochester, a volunteer at the Rochester Manor and was an avid sports fan.

Surviving members of the family include: his wife, Marie (Ouellette) Lefebvre of Rochester, one son, Marc Lefebvre of Rochester, three daughters, Diane Furbish of Rochester, Denise Brock of Rochester and Ann MacDougall of Farmington, N.H., nine grandchildren, two great-grandchildren. He also leaves one sister, Madeleine Guilmette of Rochester, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by two sisters, Jeannette and Yvette, and four brothers, Wilbrod, Gerard, Robert and Maurice.

There will be no calling hours. Family and friends are invited to gather for a Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m. on Wednesday at St. Mary's Church, 71 Lowell Street, Rochester, N.H., with burial in the spring in Holy Rosary Cemetery in Rochester.
