DOVER - Mrs. Maude J. (Clark) Gilbert, 90 years, formerly of Saugus, Mass., died on Sunday, Feb. 24, in Dover. She was the wife of the late Atty. Bradbury Gilbert.
Born and raised in Saugus, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Edith (Vickers) Clark. A graduate of Saugus High School, Mrs. Gilbert was an active member at St. John's Episcopal Church serving on the Vestry, Altar Guild, as a lay reader and choir member for many years. She was also a member of Eastern Star Tontoquon Chapter 100. She was a resident of Bellamy Fields Assisted Living for five years and spent summers at her family home on Lake Massasecum in Bradford, for many years.
Mrs. Gilbert leaves one daughter, Melinda Sullivan and her husband Ricky of Berwick, Maine; one son, Dana Gilbert and his wife Donna of Bradford; nine grandchildren, Brad and Jessica Sullivan, Jonathan and Christopher Parsons-Gilbert, Matthew, Jeffrey, Joshua, Elijah and Eileen Gilbert. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation in the Bisbee-Porcella Funeral Home, 549 Lincoln Ave., Saugus, on Saturday, March 2, from 11 a.m. to noon followed by a funeral service at noon. Interment Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to Bellamy Fields Assisted Living Employee Fund, 150 Garrison Road, Dover, NH 03820 to benefit further education for Alzheimer's.
