Kenneth G. Clark Jr.

ENGLEWOOD, Fla. - Kenneth G. Clark Jr., 79 of Englewood, Florida and Merrimack and Dover, New Hampshire, died May 29, 2013, after a short illness. Ken was raised in Dover's Sawyers section of town and attended Dover Schools. He was predeceased by his beloved wife of 50 years, Barbara (Lantaigne) Clark. Ken was a second generation Irish-American descendant of Grandparents John and Mary (Dugan) Clark who was born in Dover to Kenneth and Jean (Roux) Clark, Ken was a veteran of the Air Force during the Korean War and retired from Sanders in Nashua, to move to Englewood, where he and Barbara operated Barb's Bookshop for many years which became a stopping spot for New Hampshire visitors. In addition to his wife and parents, Ken was predeceased by his brother Peter Clark and his Aunt Elizabeth (Clark) Stevens, formerly of Dover. He is survived by sons Michael, Kevin and Kenneth Clark, residents of New Hampshire; by his sister Elizabeth (Clark) Patterson of Florida, and by his grandchildren James, Amy, Ryan, Mitchell, Olivia, Isabelle and Aubrey.
