Nita Speidel Obituary
Born December 17, 1940, and raised on a farm in Fowlerville, Michigan, she was the oldest of seven children of the late Ted and Marion Dey. Nita graduated from Fowlerville, High School in 1958. She attended Sparrow Hospital School of Nursing in Lansing Michigan and received her RN degree in 1961. She travelled throughout the country working in the area of Oncology, hematology with both adults and children and also as a missionary nurse in Africa, India and Europe.
Nita is survived by three sisters, Dorothy Lott, Thea Graves (Rex Graves), and Carol Oliver and two brothers, Roy Dey and Ward Dey (Peggy Dey). She was preceded in death by her husband Roger Speidel her daughter Desiree Clark and her brother Rick Dey (Deborah Dey). Other survivors include her daughter Anne Kaiser and husband Joel and four grandsons, Harry Clark, and Robert, Owen and Lucas Kaiser.
SERVICES: A Memorial Service will be held at Durham Evangelical Church, Route 108, Durham at 6 p.m. Monday, September 28, 2015. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society at: https://donate.cancer.org/index?campaign=search&gclid=CIDou6iUjsgCFYUUHwodJDoGKQ or Brain Tumor Research Foundation c/o Dr. Jorg Dietrich, Massachusetts General Hospital, Boston, Massachusetts.

Nita's courage in the midst of adversity was attractive and impressive and she reflected the Savior she loved and served. I will miss her tenacity, her sense of humor and her friendship. One last hug until I see you again.
