Janine Gilbert Obituary
Mrs. Gilbert had worked for the University of New Hampshire once her children were in school.
Members of her family include her husband Michael Gilbert; her children Nicole Runde and husband Kevin; and Robert Gilbert and wife Alexis all of Dover, N.H.; her grandchildren Elizabeth, Isabella, Braden, Cohen, and Landon, her siblings Evelyn Tibbetts of Berwick, Maine; Carol Wright of Rochester, N.H.; Susan Croisetiere of Drayden, Md.; and Doris Mitchell of Hampstead, N.H.; several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased her sister Elaine Vashon and granddaughter Hannah Gilbert.
SERVICES: Family and friends may visit Thursday, September 28, from 4-7 p.m., at the Tasker Funeral Home, 621 Central Ave., Dover, N.H. A funeral service will be held Friday, at 10 a.m., in the funeral home. Burial will follow in the Pine Hill Cemetery in Dover.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Seacoast Cancer Center Foundation at Wentworth-Douglass Hospital. Please go to www.taskerfh.com to sign the online guestbook.

So very sorry for your loss. I worked with Janine at UNH for many years and she was a wonderful person. I lost my husband a little over a year ago to cancer so I know how devasted you all must be. My heart goes out to you. God Bless.

Sorry to hear about the loss of a good friend. Had many good memories from grammar school thru high school. Those memories followed into our early adulthood bringing up our children. These memories will always be cherished.Our thoughts and prayers will always be with Mike and the family.

I have many good memories of her when my family moved next to hers on Morning St. In Somersworth and we became friends during our high school years and shared many long walks to and from school.
