Tommy and Jackie,
I can'begin t express my deep sorrow in the death of Randy. I've cried and prayed. Randy and I had our own special relationship: When he wa little, I would say to him "I could have been your mother." He would get mad, As he grew up, he would laugh about it. I would be so proud to have such a wonderful man as my second son. The last time I saw him, I came into Logan's with some friends for dinner, and I heard "Rosie" and I look around and their he was smiling. I went over and we hugged and kissed on the cheek. I repeated the "I could have been your mother" as always, and he laughed. On his way out, he came behind me and kissed me goodbye. It will always be a wonderful memory for me.
I love you. We will always be connected as family.

And now, dear brothers and sisters, we want you to know what will happen to the believers who have died so you will not grieve like people who have no hope.
For since we believe that Jesus died and was raised to life again, we also believe that when Jesus returns, God will bring back with him the believers who have died.
We tell you this directly from the Lord: We who are still living when the Lord returns will not meet him ahead of those who have died.
For the Lord himself will come down from heaven with a commanding shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trumpet call of God. First, the Christians who have died will rise from their graves.
Then, together with them, we who are still alive and remain on the earth will be caught up in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. Then we will be with the Lord forever.
So encourage each other with these words.
Rev. Eddie& Jackie McDaniel

Although I did not know Randy personally I did however work with Tommy for many years. Randy and I shared many friends among friends. Extending my sincere condolences to Tom and the entire Dorsey family.
God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change; courage to change the things I can; and wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time; Enjoying one moment at a time; Accepting hardships as the pathway to peace; Taking, as He did, this sinful world as it is, not as I would have it; Trusting that He will make all things right if I surrender to His Will; That I may be reasonably happy in this life and supremely happy with Him Forever in the next.

We have been shocked and saddened by recent events. As we have only gotten the chance to meet Randy this summer but he had accepted us as his family since we are family of JoAnns. He bonded with our children Randi and TJ so quickly, that they looked forward to the next time of fun, family, and friends at the cookouts. We will miss him greatly as he has made a very big impression in our lives in such a short time. God bless you all and may his love help you through this difficult time.
