Mrs. Nora Lee Seal, 84, of Treadway, Tenn., died Saturday, Sept. 7, at the home of her daughter, Edna Topper, in Treadway.
She was the wife of the late Dana B. Seal.
She was the daughter of the late Henry and Laura Mullins Burkes.
She was a member of Friendlies Chapel Baptist Church.
She is survived by four daughters, Barbara Jean Peregoy and husband Robert of Taneytown, Edna Ruth Topper and husband Francis of Treadway, Grace B. Stine of Taneytown, and Peggy Ann Boyd of Sneedville, Tenn.; two sons, Doris D. Seal and wife Donna of Bean Station, Tenn., and Billy Ray Seal and wife Sue of Sneedville; one stepdaughter, Hazel Green of Sneedville; one stepson, James Jr. and wife Esther Seal of Morristown, Tenn.; one brother, Franke C. Burke; one sister, Grace Grimes of Sneedville; 17 grandchildren; several stepgrandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one son, David C. Seal; brothers, Charlie, Garrett, Everett and Glen Burke; sisters, Dora Lamb, Opal Hyatt and Creola Roberts; stepchildren, Ulys and Homer Seal; grandchildren, Dana Ray Brockman, Connie and Joni Seal, Rodney and Jessica Sellman.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Tuesday, Sept. 10, at McNeil Funeral Home, Sneedville, with the Rev. Bill Carroll and the Rev. Lester Greene officiating.
Interment will follow in Friendlies Chapel Cemetery.
