Mrs. Bonnie S. Biggus, 52, of Westminster, died early Thursday morning, April 15, 2004 at University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.|
Born July 12, 1951, in Gettysburg, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Clair L. and Salome C. Holland Hollinger.
She is survived by her husband of 18 years, Austin S. Biggus.
Bonnie was employed by Lehigh Cement in Union Bridge for 25 years, where she was the union president.
She loved to travel, fish, watch wrestling and spend time on the computer.
Surviving in addition to her husband are daughters, Michelle Biggus, Tabitha and husband Brian Holman, Austina, Kristina and Unetra Biggus, all of Frederick; sons, Austin and wife Nikki of Hanover, Pa., and Jason Biggus of Frederick; mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rosemary and Edward Jackson of Frederick; 12 grandchildren; and numerous aunts, cousins, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by uncles, Stewart, Noah "Curvin," and Melvin Hollinger.
Funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, April 20, at Myers-Durboraw Funeral Home, 91 Willis St., Westminster, with the Rev. Richard Culp of Westminster Bible Church officiating.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 3 p.m. until the time of the service.
Graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 24, in St. Mary's Cemetery in Silver Run.
Contributions in her name may be made to the family to help with expenses, in care of her husband, Austin S. Biggus, 3461 Littlestown Pike, Westminster, Md. 21158.
