Lucille Wiles Obituary
Mrs. Lucille Mary Wiles ,84, Myersville, died Friday March 21 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. She was the wife of the late Charles E. "Hambone" Wiles. They were married in Jan. 1950 until his death in Sept. 1988.

Born in Baxter, WV but raised in what is now Deep Creek Lake , MD on Feb. 18, 1930 she was a daughter of the late Lloyd L. and Mary Bell Bowser. She

graduated from Oakland High School in 1947 and was employed as a secretary at Yellow Springs Elementary School for 37 years until her retirement in 1989. Lucille fought a courageous battle with osteoporosis in her spine and arthritis. She is now at peace.

She is survived by her son: Charles Ellsworth Wiles Jr. and his 3 children Charlie and wife Sadie, Nicole and Jessica and their 11 grandchildren.

In addition, surviving, are two granddaughters Lisa and Mary and 1 great-granddaughter and 1 great-grandson.

She was also also predeceased by her two daughters Linda Lou Wiles and Elizabeth Kay Bowers.

Also surviving is one brother Frank Bowser and a sister Yvonne Carr.

She was also predeceased by three brothers: Harland Bowser, Lloyd Junior Bowser, Fred Bowser.

The family will receive friends on Monday March 24 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM at the Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, 31 E. Main St., Middletown. Funeral services will be held 11 AM on Tuesday March 25 from the funeral home. Rev. Kathy Vitalis Hoffman will officiate. Interment will be made in Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery, Myersville.
