God bless you Delbert. I just found you have gone to be with God and to reunite with family and friends in heaven. This is Keith your old first mate from 20 years ago on the Marce-2. I was thinking of you thought I'd look you up. I hope there's great fishing up there. We had some great times and some tough times . Mother nature wasn't always good to us. But you all ways got us back from 80 miles out in the middle ground. I've always missed you now even more. But I know you in good hands. So to the best captain I've ever had and a loving father I'll see you some day. Try to keep the tools for your boat out of the kitchen drawers. Miss you my friend and thanks for the great memories and stories I have to tell. RIP

Today I looked up and old friend an boat captain Delbert piper I worked for 20 years ago. On the Marce2 a 42 ft. Sportscraft from Homeport Marina in Dunedin, Fl. Only to find that Delbert had pass on to be with God six years ago. Delbert loved his wife Mar-calene anfamily very much an was so proud of them an spoke of them often. He also loved his boat named after his loving wife. He loved fishing and the Gulf of Mexico. We would fish for three days an Delbert always knew were to find the fish. He was an honest straight forward man. The best Captain Ive ever known. He welcomed me to his house for a pig roast and to meet his family. It saddens me greatly to look up an old friend and find that he is no longer with us. But I'll always remember the fun and good times on the boat. We went through some tough times way out there in the middle grounds but always mad it back to laugh about it. I have some great tails in my head. God bless you my friend and thank you for the great memories. RIP. Keith a Soisson.

I will always have AWESOME memories of Delbert and Marcie taking me fishing, crabbing, and boating when I was a little girl. (Warren and Helen's daughter) I will never forget him.
