Paul Lloyd "Babe" Droneburg Obituary
Paul Lloyd "Babe" Droneburg, 78, of Libertytown, died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at Glade Valley Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Walkersville.


Born September 27, 1934 in Frederick County, he was the son of the late George H. and Ruth Masser Droneburg. He was the husband of Nerissa F. "Bee" Droneburg and they would have celebrated their 60th anniversary in August.


Mr. Droneburg was a 1953 graduate of Frederick High School and following graduation farmed for 45 years on Daysville Road. He was a member of Chapel Lutheran Church and had served on the cemetery board for 32 years. He enjoyed bowling at Village Lanes, Frederick and Walkersville Bowling Center. He loved water sports, work- ing with his hands and wood- working, fishing, playing cards with family and friends, and watching Oriole baseball.


Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters, Pamela Droneburg Reppert of Frederick, Penny Nerissa Droneburg of Libertytown; son, Paul Allen Droneburg and wife, Donna of Frederick; grandchildren, Jeana Nerissa Milyard and husband Wade of Walkersville, Jessica Lynn Reppert, Johanna Lee Reppert and Paul Adam Droneburg, all of Frederick; great-grand- children, Austin Wade
Milyard and Jocelen Nerissa Milyard; and sisters, Mildred Wisner and husband, Paul of Shookstown and Virginia Smith of Woodsboro; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by brothers, Roger, Glen, Lee and Clyde Droneburg; and sister, Grace Altman.


The family will receive friends at Hartzler Funeral Home, 11802 Liberty Rd., Libertytown on Friday, May 17 from 6 to 8 p.m. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. Christopher Litton, his pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Chapel Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to , Attn: Donor Services, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, TX 75265-0309.
