Mr. Bertram Lloyd Edmonston Jr., 90, Ocean City, died Wednesday, September 18 at Frederick Memorial Hospital. He was the
husband of Virginia Z. Edmonston.

Born in Baltimore on October 21, 1922 he was a son of the late Bertram Lloyd Sr. and Margaret Eleanor Peacock Edmonston. He was employed as a salesman with General Foods until his retirement and was a US Navy veteran of WWII. He was a 50 year member of Pickering Lodge AF & AM in Baltimore; member of the Elks Lodge in Ocean City and was an avid fisherman.
Surviving, beside his wife, are: a daughter, Nancy Louise Ranks of FL; a son, Bertram Lloyd Edmonston III and wife
Virginia R. of Thurmont; a step-daughter, Susan Warner of Abingdon; three grandchildren: Jennifer Clingerman and husband Richard of Thurmont, Bertram Lloyd Edmonston IV and wife Jennifer of Middletown, and AJ Edmonston and wife Lauren of Thurmont; six great-grandchildren: Reid Clingerman, Colton Clingerman, Asher Clingerman, Bertram Lloyd Edmonston V, Callan Edmonston, and Claire Edmonston; and a sister, Eleanor Paris of Frederick.

Memorial services and interment will be private. Donald B. Thompson Funeral Home, Middletown, is in charge of arrangements.
