Roger, an old friend, radio club members in college, and a joy to be around. A larger than life kind of guy. I still smile when I think of those days.

Roger you will sorely missed. Friends since high school, college, the house you and Denny Ryan lived in near Trumbull. The ice cream trucks with Norm. So many fun, good memories of you. All the crazy things we all did together and lived through, will not be forgotten. You finally meeting the love of your life Marie. Love and prayers to you Marie and your whole family..

Roger and I were acquaintances from high school and, as usual, we lost all contact for many years until Facebook came around.
It was pleasing to see the family man and business owner he became. Gone too soon. Prayers for his family to ease their grief.

Roger & I grew up a block from each other. He lived on Yinger, a block & a half north of Warren Ave. His mother was the school crossing guard on the corner of Warren Ave & Payne where I crossed to get to Maples. We attended Maples from K-9 & Fordson, graduating in '68. His prize album collection was almost entirely that of Elvis. I have many fond memories with him having snowball fights, playing baseball & home run derby at the Cookie Factory by the C&O tracks and having to be in when the streetlights came on. (hooray of summer!) He worked at Norm's wholesale ice-cream warehouse on Greenfield Rd. after school. We talked after his bout with liver cancer and selling his Bagel Shop, and he was fully encouraged when his physician informed him they got all the cancer. Roger was always a good friend with a great personality. He will be missed.
