I was a student of Mrs. Jones in 1974 at YEMS. She made such a difference in my life. I'm so sorry I cannot tell her in person.RIP lovely lady!

Mrs. Jones was a significant person in my life. Her insistence and encouragement that I was special made me believe I could succeed at anything I set my mind to do. During my attendance at YEMS she made me promise that after my, now 30 year old, son was born that I return to CHS and graduate on "their terms". Thirty years ago, that was a very tough goal for a shy 16 year old girl to achieve. Because of her encouragement and (sometimes tough) Iove I proudly walked with my graduating class in 1985. I keep the graduation card she gave me on my dresser and read it often. The short paragraph of continued belief in my capabilities and assured confidence in my future has empowered my confidence throughout decades. Her personal investment in me and many many other of her students truly made a difference. God Bless the Jones Family - Much love to you all. ??

Mrs. Jones was a caring and wonderful teacher. I was in her class in 1976. She gave me encouragement as a young mother. I graduated mid year. Today my son is 37 and a vice president of an local engineering firm. She taught me many valuable lessons in that class and I'm still using them today. What wonderful memories! Thank You Mrs. Jones for everything. God Bless you and your family.
