Keith passed away peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, September 7, 2013, in Eugene, Or. Keith was born on March 31, 1930, in Cleveland, Oh. His childhood years were spent in the Orlando area of Florida with his parents and brothers. As a young man, Keith joined the USAF and served as a Staff Seargent during the Korean War. He met the love of his life while serving in the United States Air Force, 1st Leiutenant Jane Louise. They married in San Antonio, Tx. on May 23, 1953. Keith worked as a successful pharmaceutical salesman serving the areas of: Westland, Mi.; Morristown, NJ; Placentia, Ca.; and Fresno, Ca. until he retired in the 1990's. He loved and cherished his family and pets. Keith was preceded in death by his parents; and beloved wife Jane. He is survived by his daughter, Kim Brown and her husband Robert; granddaughter, Jennifer Goetting and her husband Russ; great-granddaughters, Sequoiah, Willow, and Madrona; daughter, Karin Weeks and her husband Edward; grandsons, Jason Wong and PFC Jeremy Wong; son, Jon Tengstedt; and grandson Kyle Pearson. Keith is also survived by his brothers, Richard Tengstedt and his wife Betty, and family; brother, David Tengstedt and his wife Bernice, and family. We love you Papa. You will be missed. A full honors Military Memorial Service will be held at San Joaquin National Cemetery on Monday, October 14, 2013, at 11:00 a.m.. As our Papa had a lifelong love of animals, Remembrances can be mailed to SPCA, 103 S. Hughes, Fresno, Ca. 93706, in Keith's name.
