RICHARD ALLEN STOECKEL

Richard Allen Stoeckel unexpectedly died in his home on Sunday, November 29, 2015, in Fresno, CA, at the age of 67. Rick was born September 19, 1948, in Fresno, CA. He graduated from McLane High School in 1966, and he served in the United States Air Force from 1967 to 1971. He was a Vietnam veteran. He married the love of his life before Christmas in 1967, and cherished his daughters. He was a loving father who taught his girls to be strong and independent. He was a Dental Lab Technician for 45 years and owned Yosemite Dental Laboratory. He was a thoughtful and generous man who prioritized family and people over the things that life offered. His impact on those he loved will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents Robert and Arlene Stoeckel. Rick is survived by Donna, his wife of almost 48 years; his two daughters, DeeDee Bynum and Lisa James; his two sons-in-law, David Bynum and Blake James; his five grandchildren, Jacob and Jenna, Morgan, Marcus and Kora; and his older brother, Wayne Stoeckel. The family greatly appreciates the love and support they have received. A Funeral Service will be held at People's Church Student Ministry Building on Monday, December 7, 2015, at 10:00 a.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Fresno Memorial Gardens immediately following the funeral.
