JERRY L. HAMILTON

Our Jerry lost his two month battle with pancreatic cancer on Monday, February 4, 2013. He was born July 29, 1956, in Fresno, Ca. He graduated from Sanger High School in 3-1/2 years in 1974. He had a good life; he played bass in a band with his brothers-in-law. He began racing when he was 16 and raced for Bandit Racing with his dad at Madera Speedway and at Mesa Marin. He loved his yearly treks to Morro Bay for the harbor festival. It was his favorite place to be. Jerry was a District Manager for Red Bull Distribution Company, he loved his job. Jerry had made many lifelong friends that he stayed in contact with, several from first grade to today. He was preceded in death by his pop, Don Hamilton; and his mother, Mary Lambert. He is survived by his daughter Veronica; his sister, Karen Huckabay and her husband Mike; his nephew Matthew; niece Marcee; his mom Wanda; brothers, Mark and Daryl Blanton; his dad Larry Lambert. He is also survived by his uncle Hondo; and aunt, Pat McDaniel; and uncle and aunt, Harold and Diane Wilson. He will be missed by his special friend, Michelle Hughes and several lifelong friends. A Memorial Service will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel on Wednesday, February 13, 2013, at 11:00 a.m. Donations may be made to Hinds Hospice.
