Patrick was a good friend. I became friends with him in 1989 when we lived in next door studio apartments near Clovis and Shaw. I remember the trips to Reno and Las Vegas, and places we went to go eat in the Fresno area.
He was very proud of his family and always kept me up to date on them, from their early history to current news. Patrick was very proud of his sister becoming a teacher, and being Uncle Buck to his nephew. He did a great job taking care of his father eventually moving in with him.
We fell out of touch when I got married in 1997. I will always recall Patrick as someone who cared about others and was positive and friendly. Seeing his photo in the Fresno Bee reminded me of what a good friend he was. I am sorry for your family's loss.

Arleta - I am so sorry to hear about the lose of your son. I lost my son 3 years ago, so as a Mother, I know how devastated you are right now. We haven't seen each other for over 20 years, but when I read about Patrick, I wanted you to know you are not alone. When Aaron died all I wanted was to talk to another mother who knew how I felt. I was fortunate to find a wonderful group that let me talk and cry. So, if you need someone, I can be reached at [email protected] or 559-325-5771. My prayers are with you and your family. God Bless
