Arnold, age 83 of Fresno, Ca passed away peacefully on Friday, November 23, 2012. Arnold was born on December 6, 1928 in Depew, Ok to Oran and Dora Brown. Arnold served in the United States Navy on the USS Gardiners Bay from 1952-1955. Where he earned The Korean Service Medal, Navy Good Conduct Medal, China Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal and the United Nations Service Medal for Korea. He worked as a plasterer for 28 years in Fresno, Ca. where he and Bonnie raised their three daughters. Arnold enjoyed restoring old Chevy pick-ups, gardening and talking on his CB radio. He and Bonnie spent many hours outdoors visiting with family and friends. The family would like to thank Mr. Brown's caregivers who made it possible for him to stay in his home. Arnold is preceded in death by his wife, Bonnie, of 62 years; his parents; and sister, Pat Mills. Arnold is survived by his siblings and their spouses, Wanda Gentry, Betty Bohner and Etta Day; three daughters and their spouses: Roseanne and Charles Simpson, Barbara and Jeff Weber, Teresa and Timothy Whitmore; seven grandchildren: Jeffrey, Ashley, Courtney, Brittany, Ryan, Jamie and Taylor and three great grandchildren: Giovanni, Emerson and Charlie. Viewing will be held at Clovis Funeral Chapel, on Friday, November 30, 2012, from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. A Graveside Service will be held at Clovis Cemetery, on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at 10:00 a.m.
