Jeff Lynn Harper passed away peacefully on Monday, December 3, 2012, at the age of 60 following a courageous battle against colon cancer. Jeff was born in Fresno on February 3, 1952, to Gordon and Mae Harper, the youngest of seven children.
Jeff graduated from Reedley High School in 1970 and joined R.W. Greenwood Associates, Inc. in 1976 where he met his future wife Heather. After starting a family, Jeff and Heather formed Mountain Valley Drafting Inc. where they met and worked with many wonderful clients and friends.
Jeff's kind heart and gentle spirit will forever remain with us. He touched many lives and a part of his heart will always be in Jamaica, his second home.
Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Gordon and Mae Harper; sister, Laverne Talley; brothers, Joe Harper and John Harper; and an infant son, Jared Lee Harper.
Jeff is survived by his wife Heather; his daughter, Jesalyn Mae Riddle and her husband Tim and their son, Jared Wayne; his sons, Judd Harper and Jake Harper; brother, Thomas Jackson Harper and his wife Joy; brother, Jerry Wayne Harper and his wife, Behnaz; brother, James Harper; nieces and nephews Joanne, Joe, Annie, Jesse, Jackie, Donna, Chuck, Carol, Sharon, Carl, Bryan, Robbie, David, Karen, Nazanin, Armin, Robert and Jason; and many great nieces and great-nephews.
A Celebration of Jeff's Life will be held at Holland Park West on Friday, December 7, 2012, 12:00 noon.
Remembrances may be made to Hinds Hospice.
