ORA ELLEN NEAL

Ora (Temple) Neal died peacefully in Fresno, after a long struggle with Parkinson's disease. Ora was born on June 26, 1925, in New Albany, In. to Raymond and Pauline Temple. She graduated from St. John's High School in Fresno and from Beauty College. She married Bob Neal, a builder, in May 1947; they were together for 62 years. Ora and her family would like to express much gratitude to the staff at Caring Heart ALF and St. Agnes Hospice. Ora and Bob raised five children, all of whom survived them: Marlaine Neal, Christine Patton and her husband, Tim, Michael Neal, Trisha Neal, and Shawn Neal. Ora is also survived by her brothers and sisters-in-law, Brother Martin Temple, CSsR, Phillip Temple and his wife Shirley, Lawrence Temple and his wife Marilyn, Thomas Temple and his wife Barbara, and Dorothy (Neal) Farrar; seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren. Recitation of the Holy Rosary will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Thursday, June 9, 2011, at 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held at Holy Spirit Catholic Church on Friday, June 10, 2011, at 10:00 a.m., followed by a tea party reception.
