Ronald "Doc" Holliday, age 64, of Fresno, Ca, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 1, 2014, at St. Agnes Medical Center. Born on May 3, 1949, in Dinuba, Ca, his family moved to Reedley soon after his birth where he spent his childhood years. Ron spent the prime of his life as a dance instructor, choreographer for country western line dancing. His accomplishments include a dance titled, "Bar Room Romeo" and "California Stomp". Ron loved life and enjoyed it to the fullest. Although life may have had challenges in relation to health issues he never let it stop him. He had a strong will and was a fighter. Ron was preceded in death by his father, Eldon C. Holliday; mother, Loneta Threat;, brother Edmond Holliday; and his sister Betty Mattox. He is survived by Pamela of Fresno, his wife of 18 years; five children, Johnny Holliday of Fontana, CA, Eldon Holliday of Lemoore, CA, Veronica Repp of Clovis, CA, Charlotte Abel of Gaston, OR, and Matthew Martin of Clovis, CA.; 12 grandchildren; and three great grand children; sister, Melva Keyes of Fresno; and numerous nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, February 10, 2014, at 11:00 a.m. at Northwest Church.
