Dorothy Ellen Pegg, 91, of Fort Collins, passed away Nov. 8 in Fort Collins.  She was born in Madrid, Nebraska, Dec. 29, 1925, to Ardell L. and Anna V. (Silvrants) Lovenburg.  After graduating from Madrid High School, Dorothy married Jack Pegg Oct. 12, 1944, in North Platte, Nebraska.
Dorothy worked in various Woolworths stores in Brighton, Greeley and Longmont.  She also was employed by Hubbard Jewelry in Arvada and operated Modo-Day Dress in Brighton. She also worked with her husband, Jack, doing books at the Buckley Acre Tree Farm and at the Fort Lupton Canning Factory.   
Dorothy loved sewing and embroidery work, cooking and working in her flower gardens.  She also enjoyed road trips and traveling.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother.
Survivors include her sons, Leonard (Marlene) of Gaston, Oregon, and Larry (Ruthie) of Fort Collins; sisters Estline Waterman of Grant, Nebraska, and Joyce Losino of Fort Morgan; brother, Galen Lovenburg of Estes Park; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Her husband, in 2015; a son Kenneth, in 1976; a great-grandson, Joshua; a sister Dolores; and a brother Alva, preceded her in death.
Visitation will be held at 10 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 15. Both programs will be at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, 75 S. 13th Ave., Brighton, which handled the arrangements.
Interment will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Fort Lupton.
