George Richard LeBlanc, 81, of Ft. Lupton, passed away June 27, 2013, at his home. He was born Nov. 27, 1931, in Del Norte, to Epemineo and Diega (Vigil) LeBlanc. He graduated from high school in Alamosa and later married Mary Trujillo.

George was a school teacher and rancher in Del Norte for the majority of his life. He loved to raise animals and spend time in the outdoors. He loved to go fishing. George also enjoyed woodworking and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Mary LeBlanc, of Ft. Lupton; children, Daniel (Linda) Vigil, Lorraine (Johnny) Reyes, George L. LeBlanc, Elaine (Isaac) LeBlanc and Matt (Mary Lou) LeBlanc, all of Ft. Lupton, Larry (Hope) LeBlanc, Lavonne (Val) Loya, Amanda and Andrew LeBlanc, all of Thornton, Claudia (Placido) Munoz, Laverne LeBlanc, Linda (Artudo) Alcon, Claude (Debbie) LeBlanc, George (Elena) LeBlanc, all of Commerce City, Margaret (Paul) Renner of Del Norte and Judy (Aldo) LeBlanc, of Denver; 37 grandchildren and 63 great-grandchildren.
Rosary service was Monday, July 1, 2013. Mass of Christian Burial followed Tuesday, July 2, 2013. All services were held at St. Williams Catholic Church in Ft. Lupton. Interment at Hillside Cemetery.
Tabor-Rice Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
