On Feb. 6, 1959, an angel was born. Heather was a precious soul who gave love freely and unconditionally. Heather lived in the moment. Her hugs were warm and heartfelt. Her laugh was contagious and animated. Her smile and the twinkle in her eye could light a dark moonless night. She was a gift to all who knew her and who were fortunate enough to be loved by her.
Her body was a package, but her soul was the present. She left us on Oct. 25 to fly among the angels who went on before her.
Heather attended Fort Lupton schools and graduated from Pace High School in Pace, Florida. She earned a bachelor's degree from University of Northern Colorado.
She leaves behind to cherish her memory her partner in life, Don Richardson; parents, Sue and Joseph Hubert; children, Joseph D. Marhoefer, Cyle W. Richardson, McKenzie J. Harrison (Brandon), and Dylon L. Richardson; siblings Michael R. Kunzman (Carina), Julina S. Gerhardt (Erich), John J. Hubert (Lisa), Christopher C. Hubert (Heather), William C. Kunzman (Sharon); Nikolas K. Kunzman (Kelly); precious beloved grandchildren, Reagan and Jude Richardson and Gaitlin Harrison; and numerous special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Heather was a brilliant accountant who worked independently providing expertise and guidance to many Colorado businesses throughout her career. She also provided tax consulting to countless friends and clients. Heather was also a real estate broker, who managed and sold real estate in the Greeley area. Heather spent her free time with those she cherished most and relished her role as a grandmother. She was a founding member of the board at Hope at Miracle House, a cold weather shelter for the homeless in Fort Lupton. She spent time as a volunteer for A Woman's Place and at the Bird of Prey Foundation.
A service of remembrance of Heather's most precious life was Oct. 28 at the First United Methodist Church in Fort Lupton.
Those wishing to make a charitable contribution in her honor are encouraged to consider Hope at Miracle House or a charitable organization of your choosing.
