Mr. Charles Fred Goodwin

Mr. Charles Fred Goodwin, age 70, of Chattahoochee, passed away Monday, May 27, 2013 in Tallahassee, Florida. Charlie was born October 20, 1942 to Colan and Alma Yon Goodwin. He was a native of Jackson County, Florida and retired from the U.S. Postal Service in Quincy, Florida. Charlie was an avid car enthusiast and family man.

Charlie is survived by his wife, Sue Hamilton Goodwin, daughter, Denise Fletcher and husband Bert of Quincy, son, Chuck Goodwin and wife Stephanie of Kennesaw, Georgia, granddaughters, Olivia and Kay Fletcher, and extended family; Lea' Hamilton and husband Wayne of Marianna, Ken Hamilton and wife Lynn of Tallahassee, Jill Harrelson and husband Mike of Enterprise, Alabama, Jody Hamilton of Chattahoochee, and Margaret Hagglund of Quincy. Grandchildren; Kason, Seth, John, Elizabeth, Bryson, Taylor, Morgan, and Gavin. Also surviving are sister, Lovida Goodwin and brother, Douglas Goodwin and wife Clara of Sneads. A number of nieces, nephews and many friends.

Charles was preceded in death by his wife Olivia Sellars Goodwin and brother, Gerald Goodwin.

Visitation with the family was held Wednesday, May 29, 2013 from 6 to 8 pm EST at Centenary United Methodist Church, in fellowship hall in Quincy, Florida.

Funeral Services were held Thursday, May 30, 2013 at 11:00 am EST at the First United Methodist Church in Chattahoochee, Florida. Interment will be at Hillcrest Cemetery in Quincy, Florida.
