Willie Mae Drayton, age 97, of Quincy, Florida, transitioned this earthly life on Friday, June 28, 2013 in Tallahassee, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Jim and Mary Drayton. She was born June 18, 1916 in Quincy, Florida. Funeral services will be held 11 AM Saturday, July 6, 2013 at Greater Tanner Chapel AME Church in Quincy with Reverend Sterling Barkley, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunnyvale Cemetery in Quincy. Bradwell Mortuary is in charge of the services. Viewing-visitation is from 5 PM to 7 PM Friday July 5, at Bradwell Mortuary. Willie Mae was a member of Greater Tanner Chapel AME church and was a retired teacher of the Gadsden County School System.

She is survived by her nephew, Joseph Drayton (Cynthia) of Quincy, nephew, Willie Saucier (Carolyn) of Gretna, and her nieces, Thelma Rittman and Annette Smith, both of Quincy, Nettie Tribue of Orlando, Marion Little of Tallahassee, Bessie Ruth Drayton of Spring Valley, NY and Mary Francis Newsome of St. Petersburg.
