Mr. Edward Earl Dean, age 57, of Quincy, FL and a former resident of Blountstown, FL passed away Friday morning, September 28, 2012 at his home. Edward was born on September 19, 1955 in Calhoun County and lived in Quincy for the past 32 years coming Bristol. He was a truck driver employed with the Harbor Lite Corporation and a member of the Baptist Faith. Edward was a former member of the Quincy Bass Masters Bass Club and was a 1973 graduate of Blountstown High School. Edward was preceded in death by his parents, Eugene and Etta Mae Dean and a brother, Donald Dean.

Survivors include: Wife, Louise Dean of Quincy, FL; Sons, Jesse Wayne Dean of Bristol, FL and Michael Bodiford of Greensboro, FL; Daughter, Gail Trim of Greensboro, FL. 4 grandchildren, Bradley Trim, Kayla Bodiford, M.J. Bodiford and Emma Nicole Dean
1 great-grandchild, Rylee Trim. Two aunts and uncles, Edith and Jim Killingsworth of the Abe Springs Community and Bessie and Lonnie Nunnery of Wewahitchka, FL.
Memorial services will be held Wednesday, October 3, 2012 at 2:00 pm (CDT) 3:00 pm (EDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Allen Pitts officiating. Memorialization will be by Cremation. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
