Mr. Johnny Roy "Jabo" Bennett, 69, of Chattahoochee, FL., died on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 in Tallahassee, FL. Services were held at Friendship A.M.E. Church in Chattahoochee, FL on Saturday March 16, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Jean Jackson-Bennett; Children: Victoria Westbrook, Linda Bennett Knight (Allen), Johnny L. Bennett (Nicole), De'Arlo Bennett Bracy (Joel), Kuhnjuan B. Bennett (Alacie); Siblings: Ruthell Taylor, Linda Calloway (James Callaway), Alma Close-Jackson, Harvey Bennett, Bobby Bennett (Ruby), Jerry Bennett (Rose), Edgar Bennett (Mary), Alvin Bennett (Yvette) and a host of other relatives and friends. Crawford & Moultry Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Betty, Johnny Roy high school class share in your lost of a husband. Roy was also a wonderful class mate and a friend to us all. I had forgotten the name "JABO". Our deepest sympathy.
