Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Bill H. Battles, 76, Boaz, who died Tuesday, Dec. 10, 2013. David Martin officiates. Burial is at Red Hill United Methodist Cemetery. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directs.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Jeanette Battles; sisters, Mary Frances Battles and Merrildene Clements; and son, William Andrew Battles.
Survivors include daughter, Billa (Kelly) Springfield, Boaz; son, Rod (Michele) Battles, Guntersville; six grandchildren; and sisters, Wynelle Robinson, Gadsden, and Carol (David) Beddingfield, Fort Payne.
Pallbearers are Rod Battles, Kelly Springfield, Mark Springfield, Richard Baker, Corbin Battles and Rigoberto "Regal" Lopez.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shepherd's Cove Hospice of Marshall County.
Visitation is 6 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
