Funeral will be at 2 p.m. today at Village Chapel for James Willard Chambers, 82, Southside, who died Friday, March 28, 2014. The Revs. Carl Wisener and David Wisener will officiate.
Burial will be in Duck Creek Baptist Church Cemetery.
Village Chapel Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Chambers was a loving father and grandfather.
He worked as a millwright with Republic Steel for 40 plus years. He served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
He was a faithful member of the Duck Creek Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his wife of 55 years, Jerry Davis Chambers; and his son of 56 years, James (Jim) Willard Chambers Jr.; brothers, Ernest Chambers, Edward Chambers; and sister, Mavis Cox.
He is survived by his children, Brett Davis (Vicki) Chambers, Lane Chambers (Andrew) Henderson, David Lewis (Laura) Chambers; daughter-in-law, Barbara Chambers; grandchildren, Ty (Amanda) Chambers, Bentley (Adam) Carr, Allison (Josh) Smalley, Reed (Jill ) Chambers, Nicholas Chambers, Patton Chambers, Emmaline Chambers, Mindy Chambers, Lindsey Chambers, Kimberly Chambers, Megan (Josh) Ashcraft, Morgan (Ashley) Maeger, Davis Henderson, Ethan Henderson, Sara Grace Henderson, Miles Chambers and Elise Chambers; great-grandchildren, Ella Carr, Lizette Carr, Meade Carr, Harper Chambers, Sawyer Smalley and Hudson Smalley; sisters, Louise Duncan and Barbara Norton.

Chambers, Patton Chambers, Morgan Maeger and Davis Henderson.
