We lost another great American hero and humanitarian. Without the great work of this man and others then no one in the US would have the right to enjoy the basic civil freedoms all of us in my generation and younger have taken for granted..education, employment, voting rights...etc. Even the basic human rights (for example the right to sit down and have lunch with your own best friend in a restaurant). Hard to imagine that. Thank you Rev Reynolds for fighting for those rights.

My thoughts and prayers are with you during the difficult time. Uncle Nimrod was a man of vision, courage, and most importantly, a man of God. He was one of God's soldiers who stepped out of faith and helped make our country a better place for ALL mankind. He's earned his rest.

Rev. Reynolds began his civil rights work a few years before I was born in Anniston, and I am thankful for the work he did. We are all created in the image of Almighty God, and for this reason should treat each other with dignity and respect. In this fallen world this will never be fully achieved, but blessed are the ones God sends to stand up for those who are oppressed, as Rev. Reynolds did so diligently. We are better for his having lived among us. My condolences to Rev. Reynolds' family and friends.
