Funeral will be at noon Friday at Village Chapel for Larry M. Morris, 62, of Glencoe, who died Jan. 8, 2013. The Rev. Jack Smith will officiate. Burial will take place at Forrest Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Service is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Morris was a 1968 graduate of Emma Sansom High School. He retired from Overnight Transportation after 17 years of service and was a member of Lakeview Baptist Church. Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Edgar and Rose Morris.
He is survived by his wife, Patsy Morris; children, Tiffany Morris, Dylan Morris, Sara Morris, Jason (Vyvian) Morris and Angie (Todd) Pate; grandchildren, Cameron Pate, Jackson Pate, Landon Morris and Nimi Morris; brother, Steve (Jenny) Morris; sister, Sue (Danny) Mikle; a host of nieces and nephews; special friends, Roger Smith and Carolyn Smith.
Pallbearers will be James Morris, J.P. Morris, Junior Maxwell, Todd Pate, Roger Smith, Danny Mikle, Brandon Townsel and David Tyler.
Honorary pallbearer will be Dr. Echeverri.
The family will receive friends 2 hours prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home.

It always makes me so sad when I see Emma Sansom has lost another son. Something I learned in Mrs Lunsford English class at ESHS "Come what, come may, time and the hour run through the roughest day." God bless his family, and JOB WELL DONE LARRY!!!
