Annette Cash Copeland, 75, Ashville, died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012.
She was born on Jan. 23, 1937, to Benjamin Bert and Jeanette Phillips Cash. Annette was a proud graduate of Ashville High School Class of 1955 and always looked forward to their reunions. She was a member of Pine Forest Baptist Church and the St. Clair County Farmer's Federation Women's Division. She was also formerly employed at Ashville Savings Bank of Ashville and Citizen's Bank of Leeds. Annette enjoyed gardening and cooking for family and friends.
Survivors include a daughter, Debbie (William) Dumais of Birmingham; son, Glenn (Dale) Copeland of Opelika; four grandchildren, Meghann Joiner and Alex Dumais, both of Birmingham, and Reid Spates and Drew Copeland, both of Opelika; sister, Loretta (Larry) Moore of Ashville; brother, Don (Nona) Cash of Leeds; several nephews, nieces and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, C.W. Copeland; her parents; sister, Kathy Broadhead; and brother, Benny Dale Cash.
Funeral services for Ms. Annette Copeland will be held Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m. at Usrey Funeral Home in Pell City, with burial to follow in Pine Forest Cemetery, Ashville. The Rev. Paul Brasher will be officiating. Visitation for Ms. Copeland will be held Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
