Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Mr. David Monroe Colegrove, 65, Attalla, who died Thursday after a lengthy illness. The Revs. Terry Tibbs and Steve Spelce officiating, with burial in Faith Memorial Cemetery, Madison, Ala.
David was a native of Etowah County. He was a graduate of Etowah High School Class of 1965 and was a member of the Shiloh Baptist Church for the past 19 years. David was a veteran, serving a tour in Vietnam War in the Air Force, and worked for Dunlop Tire and Rubber Company for 29 years. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather and a true man of God. He was a die-hard Alabama Fan, "Roll Tide." He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Lillian Colegrove; and daughter, Christin Colegrove.
Survivors: wife, Rebecca Colegrove, Attalla; daughters, Renea (Scottie) Molen, Steele, Rhonda Miller, Madison; sons, Lee Colegrove (Leann), Attalla, Scott Harrison (Karen), Destin, Fla., Mike (Patti) Harrison, Madison, Keith Sanders, Attalla; brothers, Steve Colegrove, Miami, Fla., Tommy Colegrove, Birmingham; 14 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Pallbearers are Lee Colegrove, Scott Harrison, Keith Sanders, Johnny Huff, David Jones and Scottie Molen.
Honorary pallbearers will be Noland Memorial Hospital Staff, Anniston, Ala.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 this evening and Saturday until the hour of service.
