Memorial services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Glencoe Cumberland Presbyterian Church for Betty Burgess Klepsig, 78, of Glencoe, who passed away on April 30, 2012. The Rev. Rodney McInnis and Dr. Tommy Fergerson will officiate. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home is in charge.

Betty was born and raised in Etowah County and lived in Glencoe all of her life. She attended Glencoe Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loved her church family. Betty enjoyed working in her yard and in her flower beds. She was an avid yard saler and bingo player. But most of all she loved cooking for her family.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, John Klepsig; daughter, Pam Miller; grandson, Chad Harcrow; and nephew, Todd Bryant.
She is survived by her son, John (Tracy) Klepsig; and daughter, Kim (Tony) Harcrow; grandchildren, Niki (Eddie) Dorsett, Corey Miller, Brandi (Marcus) Thomson, Cody and Josh Miller, Jamie and Katelyn Klepsig; seven great-grandchildren; and special niece, Celia (Steve) Ball.
The family would like to say a special thank you to the staff of the CCU at Riverview Regional Medical Center and Dr. Thomas Corley.
