Funeral services for Mr. Adams will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in the Collier-Butler Chapel, with burial to follow at Forrest Cemetery. The Revs. JB Wells and Mark Gidley will officiate.
Mr. Adams served in the Navy for his country and was known as an expert in collision automotive repair.
He passed his talent to his son and many of his family and friends.
Mr. Adams is survived by his daughter, Rebecca, and her husband, David Milton; and his son, Billy, and his wife, Holley Adams. He has five wonderful grandchildren whom he loved very much, Nick, Lauren, Landon, Sarah and Lane; and a great-grandson, Gavin, whom he never got to meet. He also had one loving aunt, Mae Adams, who loved him very much, as he was like her son.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Rosalee and Jim Adams; and siblings, John, James, Jean, Dean and Ann. Our deep appreciation to you always.
He will be missed and loved forever. We love you dad.
A special thanks to Collier-Butler for making this difficult time easier not once, but twice. We are forever grateful for your kindness and support.
