Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Bronson Max New, 2, of Wellington, who passed away on March 7, 2013. The Rev. Harold Coe will officiate. Burial will follow at Young's Chapel Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel and Cemetery is in charge of services.

Bronson was born with end-stage renal disease, he had been on dialysis since he was 10 days old. He received his kidney transplant Jan. 31, 2013, from his aunt Amanda Bannister. He was always happy and loved his big sister and his "Monk Monk." He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
He is survived by his parents, Stefanie and Stephen New; sister, Mary Elizabeth "Emme" New; grandparents, Dennis and Debra Jarrells and Marcia and Doug New; great-grandparents, Max and Essie Thompson, Bobby and Pat Jarrells, and Vera New; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
Pallbearers will be Gene Jarrells, Alan Jarrells, TD Mayhall and Shannon Stone.
Honorary pallbearers will be the dialysis unit at Children's of Alabama.
Special thanks to the nurses and staff of Children's of Alabama for all you have done over the past two years.
The family will accept flowers or memorials may be made to Children's of Alabama in his memory.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 this evening at the funeral home.
