Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Morgan Funeral Chapel for Clyde Lawrence Reynolds, 82, Attalla, who died Nov. 18, 2013. The Rev. Jimmy Bailey will officiate. Burial will be in Union No. 3 Cemetery, Hokes Bluff. Morgan Funeral Chapel and Crematory directing.
Clyde was a member of Reed Memorial Baptist Church for 38 years and was retired from AAA Pottery. He was a veteran, having served in the U.S. Marines during the Korean War. Clyde was preceded in death by his first wife, Lorene Reynolds; sons, Rickey Reynolds and John William "Bill" Reynolds.
Survivors: wife, Carolyn Faye Reynolds, Attalla; daughters, Debbie Reynolds, Glencoe, Christy Calhoun, Griffin, Ga., Letha Rogers, Jackson, Ga., Melissa Bell, Jackson, Ga.; sons, Rickey Conaway, Hampton, Ga., Scott Conaway, Griffin, Ga.; 19 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; daughter-in-law, Teresa Reynolds, Anniston; brother-in-law, Bill Williams, Gadsden; sisters-in-law, Christine Smith, Hokes Bluff, Linda Shields, Hokes Bluff.
Pallbearers: Owen Wade Whioby, Joel Atkins, Gary Williams, Ronnie Calhoun, Scott Conaway, Rickey Conaway, Brandon Conaway and Micah Crews.
Honorary pallbearers: David Bell and Charles Abercrombie
Special thanks to the nurses and staff at Riverview Regional Medical Center, Dr. Roberson, Dr. Sintar, Dr. B.J. Patel and especially to the Rev. Jimmy Bailey.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Morgan Funeral Chapel.
