Born July 24, 1943 - Died July 21, 2014
Leonard 'Yank' Callison lived in Boaz, AL, and was from Sauk Village, IL, where he was a roofer and a volunteer fireman for many years. He loved practical jokes, driving his tractor and the view from his deck.
He was taken from us too soon when the Lord mercifully called him home. He loved fishing and now he's fishing with the greatest fisherman of all.
He's survived by his loving wife, Shirley; daughter, Barbara; and sons, Alan, Robert and Steven. Siblings include Shirley Young, John Callison and Dhavala "Norma" Shanmuga. He left behind 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and many cherished friends and good memories. He was preceded in death by parents, Margaret and Earl Callison.
He will be deeply missed.
The family has decided to honor his memory privately and would like to thank everyone for their prayers.
