Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Saturday for Noble Charles Millican, 87, who died Wednesday, Oct. 3, 2012. The Rev. Allen Hudson will officiate. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery. Village Chapel Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Millican was a master electrician and was employed by IBEW, Local 136 for many years. He was a veteran of World War II, a member of the Masonic Attalla Lodge and the Shriners Club. He was of the Baptist faith. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family. Mr. Millican was a loving husband, father and grandfather, who will be missed by all who knew him. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marguerite Hitt Millican; parents, Thomas and Ola Millican; sisters, Clara Chitwood, Nell Jo Mayo, Peggy White; brothers, Billy, Fred, Robert, J.D., Gene, Pete and Tom Millican.
He is survived by his children, David (Linda) Millican and Peggy (Joe) Logan; grandchildren, David (Stephanie) Millican Jr., Laura Moseley, Cindy (Jerry) Dean, Janet (Nick) Hall, Matthew (Sherri) Logan, Teresa (Darren) Hood; and numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. The love of his life was his special great-grandson, Charlie Moseley.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Guyton, Terry Guyton, Allen Millican, Jerry Dean, Nick Hall, Matthew Logan and Darren Hood.
The family will receive friends Saturday from noon to 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
