Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Pearly Thacker, 65, of Hokes Bluff, who went to stand in the presence of her Lord and Savior on Nov. 7, 2012. The Rev. James Wells will officiate. Burial will follow at Mt. Tabor Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel and Cemetery is in charge.

She was a member of Full Gospel Church, Centre, with pastor, the Rev. James Wells. Pearly was a faithful wife, loving mother, grandmother, and sister who will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by her mother and father, Edith and Leon Rountree; brothers, Glenn and Larry Rountree; and grandson, Casey Murphy.
She leaves to cherish her memory, her loving husband of 47 years, Bobby Thacker; three loving daughters, Lisa (Jimmy) Murphy, Hokes Bluff, Scherrie (Bubba) Letherwood, Hokes Bluff, and Christa (Jeff Jordan) Thacker, Windslow, Maine; 10 loving grandchildren, Timothy (Kara) Dobbs, Tony Dobbs, Karen (Mark) Dobbs, Bubba Letherwood, Autumn Letherwood, Jimmy Murphy, Lenora Jordan, Jake Jordan, Tasha (Shannon) Stone, Michael (Beth) Murphy; 10 great-grandchildren; three brothers, David (Patsy) Rountree, Herbert (Kathy) Rountree and Willard (Peggy) Rountree; two sisters, O'Dena Lovett and Penny (Bobby) Puckett; numerous nieces and nephews, and two very special friends, Betty Wells and Shirley Johnson.
Pallbearers will be Terry and Paul Wink, Tyler Carmack, Robert and Paul Rountree, Timothy Dobbs, Tommy and Bobby Lovett.
Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny Sitz and Jason Rountree.
The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 this evening at the funeral home.
