The Guest Book is expired.
Mr. Addison was a lifelong resident of Etowah County. He served his country sacrificially during WWII as an Army paratrooper. Afterward, he worked at the Anniston Army Depot for more than 30 years. He was a member of Paden Baptist Church; a man with a huge heart who has helped countless people throughout his life. He loved life and the people whom he met. God blessed us with his presence for 86 years. We will reunite again one day in Heaven.
He is survived by his loving wife of almost 64 years, Wilma Conn Addison; daughters, Candace Addison, Gadsden, and Linda (Larry) Harris, Rainbow City; sister, Joyce Garrett, Collinsville; grandchildren, Jason (Joy) Harris and Allison Harris; great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Harris and Madison Harris; countless nieces, nephews and friends.
Special thanks to everyone with Southeastern Hospice Network for the wonderful loving care they provided.
Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 tonight at the funeral home.
