Memorial services for Mrs. Helen Meador, 81, of Gadsden, who died Wednesday at Mountain Cove Assisted Living, will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection. Father Van Foreman will officiate with the Rev. Ken Casey delivering the eulogy. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mrs. Meador was a devout Christian and a member of the VFW through her late husband, Earl Meador.
She is survived by her sons, Kern (Beverly) Lee and Scott (Joy) Lee; daughter, Sherry (Bill) Willard; grandchildren, Joseph Lee, Anna Lee, Casey Lee, Jake Lee, Jarod Lee and Zack Willard; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Meador was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Meador.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to Mountain Cove Assisted Living and a special friend, Spann Noah.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Episcopal Church of the Resurrection.
