Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Crestwood Cemetery for Mr. Webb B. Green, 80, Gadsden, who passed away Friday, April 27, 2012. The Rev. Jerry Keeling will officiate. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Mr. Green was a member of Goldenrod Avenue Baptist Church and retired from Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. with 40 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Mr. Green was preceded in death by his parents, Josie and Horace Green; and son, Richard Green.
Survivors include his wife, Jeralene Green; son, Larry Green; grandson, Trent Green; sister, Betty (Bruce) Gilbert; brother, Ray (Linda) Green; several nieces and nephews.
The family extends special thanks to the third-floor CCU nurses at Riverview Regional Medical Center and doctors.
The family will receive friends Monday from noon until 1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
