Funeral services for Mr. C.L. Croft will be Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at 2 p.m. at the Betty D. Robinson Funeral Chapel at West Gadsden Funeral Home, 2118 Forrest Ave., Gadsden. The Rev. Morgan Brown officiating. Burial will follow in Attalla Cemetery Croft Section.
After a long fight, C.L. Croft departed this life on Tuesday, May 1, 2012.
Celebrating C.L. Croft's life and transition is his loving wife of 52 years, Mrs. Jessie Mae; devoted daughter, Veora Croft (Terrence) Thompkins; other children, Anthony Burton of Detroit, Mich., Katie Burton, Phyllis (Dwight) Scott, Michael Burton, all of Cleveland, Ohio, son Alan preceded him in death in January 2012; grandchildren, Andre, whom he raised as his own son, LeTerrian, Ky-Ree, Malique, Chazz Lamond (Little C.L.), Armani, along with several others; a loving brother, David (Jeanette) Croft of Attalla; nieces, Lynn Croft, Tammy (Kelvin) Tate; nephew, David Jr., all of Alabama; and a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
