Homegoing services celebrating the life of the late Mrs. Ruthie L. Cammeron, 86, of Gadsden, who passed away on May 3, 2012, will be Thursday, May 10, 2012, 2 p.m. at the New Hope Baptist Church, East Gadsden, Rev. Wilbert Gadson, Pastor. Rev. W. H. Granger, officiating services. Burial will follow in Lincoln Hill Memorial Park. West Gadsden Funeral Home in charge of services.
She leaves to cherish a lifetime of loving memories, a devoted husband, Rev. J.D. Cammeron; three children, J.D. Cammeron Jr., Ruthie Nell Carter, Dwight (Joyce) Cammeron; seven grandchildren, Tonya Lathem, Erica Cammeron, Rhonda (Jamie) Hawkins Sr., Jonathan Carter, J.D. Cammeron III, Malcolm and Mia Cammeron; five great-grandchildren; one brother, Jimmy Moses; sister-in-law, Martha Hicks; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends; special friends, Ester Kindrick, Willow Dean Latham, Effie Coats and Ms. Sassie.
The body will lie in state at the church one hour prior to services.
Public viewing will be today from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Services entrusted to West Gadsden Funeral Home, 2118 Forrest Ave., Gadsden, AL 35904, 256-549-0009.
