Martha Jo Kirby, 90, of East Gadsden, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Sunday, May 13, 2012.

The graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 16, 2012, in Forrest Cemetery. Bro. Tom Hodge, officiating. Collier-Butler Funeral and Cremation Services is directing.
Martha Jo was born Nov. 12, 1921, in Gadsden.
She was a member of East Gadsden Church of Christ, where she attended faithfully for many years until her health began to fail.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Kirby; daughter, Lydia Kay Chapman; and great-grandson, Barry Wayne Freeman.
She is survived by her son, Sidney Kirby, Gadsden; granddaughter, Tami (Donald) Freeman, Hokes Bluff; grandsons, Tim (Lisa) Chapman, Whitney Junction, and Jason Kirby (partner, Ben Faulkner), Hueytown; great-grandchildren, Cheryl Epperson, Gadsden, Ashly (Britt) Shores, North Carolina, and Adam Chapman; great-great-granddaughter, Ever Dawn Shores; a host of other relatives and many dear friends.
As per Martha Jo's wishes, there will be no visitation.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations to John Croyle's Big Oak Ranch.
Pallbearers will be family and friends.
