Services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 6, 2012, at Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Chapel for Dorothy McMurray, 66, Piedmont, who passed away Sunday, June 3, 2012. Pastor Gary McCurdy will officiate. Burial will follow at Lebanon Church of Christ Cemetery. Glencoe-Hokes Bluff Funeral Home is in charge.
Mrs. McMurray was a member of Lebanon Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Inis Frier; three brothers; and three sisters.
She is survived by her husband, Ray Cleveland McMurray; daughters, Tammy (Joe) Etherton, Piedmont, Tanya McMurray, Piedmont, and Paula (Chris) Wood, Piedmont; sons, Tony McMurray, Timmy McMurray and Stevie McMurray, all of Piedmont; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Bill Frier and Loyd Frier; and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Paul Rogers, Kenny Douell, Lloyd Joseph Etherton, Chris Wood, Doyle Anderson and Larry Evans.
Special thanks to Alacare Hospice, Pastor Gary McCurdy and Lebanon Church of Christ.
The family will receive friends two hours prior to the service, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
